Pilot Extraordinare

I ordered the plans for this particular model because I have over 1,500 hours in radial engines. I also ordered all the available kits for this model. And I have to say that the kit parts are better than first class! The canopy piece and wheel parts are perfect. The decals just put this model over the top. The plans are very detailed and the directions are exactly step by step so you can't miss any detail. Now with five grandchildren I had better get on with this project and get it finished! PS The stick-controled tailwheel is a work of art in itself! Have fun like with your project like I am here in Coronado California...

A Jewel

I'v built two of these planes and I must say the design and construction is very well done. Don't be put off by the barrel cowling. It was a real pleasure to go step bu step through the fixture construction and the build of the cowl. It was so easy to do and went together so nicely and the results amazes everyone that sees it. The original was built for my grandson (now 14) and has been in parades, airshows, and at the airport open house and hundreds of kids have "flown" it. A great experiance.
